Won't Stay Closed
It is beautiful, but the hook wouldn't stay closed. It kept falling off my shoulders since it wouldn't stay closed. I only wore it for a few hours and then had to take it off. I have a few others ruanas and this is the only one that wasn't comfortable. I'm very disappointed. I will take pliers and try to permanently make it stay closed. I will just slip it over my head. I bought this when I first saw it in the store and waited to wear it, so I can't return it. Bummer, because I hate this. It just wasn't comfortable with the coming open and sliding off my shoulders.

5 stars! I bought this ruana thinking it was a lark and wouldn’t wear it much—but I was wrong! The clasp feature allows it to be worn as a poncho or it can be worn as a ruana . And it is so cozy?

Too small
Gave it 3 stars cos it fits too tight around the shoulders. If you have tiny shoulders it will be okay. Like the material and color and how it feels. Thus, I kept it to gift it to a friend of mine with small shoulders.

I just wore this to church yesterday & received several compliments. It's light, but still warm on a 48* morning. I only gave it four stars because I feel the closure on the front should be a more secure clasp so it doesn't continually come apart. The dark navy blue that runs through the plaid pattern is dark enough that I can also wear black w/ it as well as dark navy if I prefer.
